1. Introduction

  • These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the purchase of products offered by Hellen Grundy (“we”, “our”, “us”). By accessing our website and placing an order & confirmation by tick box at checkout, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  • These Terms comply with Norwegian consumer legislation, including Angrerettloven (Right of Withdrawal Act) and Forbrukerkjøpsloven (Consumer Purchase Act). If you are a customer within the EU/EEA, your statutory consumer rights under EU law also apply.

3. Products and Services

  • We sell physical products such as Digital Fine Art Prints produced locally in Norway.
  • All products are produced locally (Norway) and shipped once the purchased item has been quality checked, authentication is complete & shipping arranged with tracking and insurance.

4. Prices, Taxes, and Import Duties

Norwegian Orders:

  • All prices for orders delivered within Norway are in Norwegian Kroner and  include Norwegian VAT (MVA) at the applicable rate.

Orders outside Norway: 

  • Customers outside Norway are responsible for all local taxes, import duties, and customs fees applicable in their country. We do not collect or remit these charges on your behalf.
  • It is your responsibility to check local import regulations before placing an order. If customs duties or local taxes are refused or unpaid, and the package is returned to us, we reserve the right to deduct any associated costs from your refund.

5. Orders and Payments

  • By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Payments are processed securely using our chosen payment providers.
  • Prices are displayed in NOK.
  • Once an order is confirmed, we will begin production on the next working day (Monday to Friday excluding non working holiday dates in Norway)
  • Since all items are made-to-order, we cannot guarantee order cancellations after production has started. If you wish to cancel, please contact us immediately at contact@hellengrundy.com.

6. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Return Policy)

  • Under Norwegian Angrerettloven and EU consumer protection law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase of physical goods within 14 days after you receive your order.

6.1 How to Exercise Your Right To withdraw

  • You must notify us of your decision in a clear statement by email: contact@hellengrundy.com or by using the model withdrawal form provided in Section 11.

6.2 How to Return the (right to withdraw) Goods

  • You must return the goods no later than 14 days after notifying us.
  • The items must be unused, undamaged, and securely packaged in their original condition.
  • You are responsible for the cost of return shipping (return shipping/postage with tracking & insurance to cover the value of the product you are returning) unless the item is defective or incorrect. 
  • If the goods are defective or incorrect, please provide photographic evidence and contact us as soon as you take receipt of the product. contact@hellengrundy.com See Section 9.

6.3 Refunds

  • We will refund the full purchase price, including the cost of standard delivery to you, within 14 days after receiving the returned goods or proof of shipment, whichever comes first. Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original order.

7. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Goods made specifically to your specifications, such as custom-made orders, bespoke colours and sizes.
  • Products that cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons if unsealed.
  • If a product falls under these exceptions, we will inform you before confirming your order. 

8. Shipping and Delivery

  • We work with local print companies to produce the Fine Art Products and deliver your order as efficiently as possible.
  • Delivery times vary depending on your location and the production schedule.
  • Once your order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details where available.
  • Please note that any customs delays are outside our control.

9. Damaged or Defective Products

  • If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect product, contact us at contact@hellengrundy.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Please provide photos and order details. We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

  • All artworks, product images, designs, and website content are the intellectual property of Hellen Grundy and are protected under Norwegian copyright law and applicable EU intellectual property legislation.
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell our designs without written permission.
  • Purchased products are for personal use only unless expressly agreed otherwise.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by Norwegian law. Any disputes shall be handled by the competent courts of Norway.
  • For customers within the EU/EEA, your statutory consumer rights under EU law remain unaffected.

14. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page, and the last updated date will always be shown at the top. Continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
